It's crazy to me how it is already the end of February and that time for monthly favourites. I love making my list throughout the month, of either new things I've tried or rediscovered favourites. Link for everything below :) Pillow talk lip liner is my favourite lip liner of all time and goes with everything, especially with lip balm like the Dior lipglow pomade. The lipglow pomade has great staying power and also super hydrating for dry lips while still giving great colour. Burt's Bees coconut foot cream has a bit of that vaseline constancy, but is more absorbent. Of course has a great coconut scent, natural, and affordable Still very into the lighter bases and been wearing Clinique Acne BB cream all month long! Been using the Chanel rose initial blush; gives that perfect hint of rosy cheeks and natural looking. The Garnier Miosture Bomb sheet mask is so amazing for dehydrated skin, easy to use, and only $4! Love picking these up when I want to have a pamper session; I've even gotten my mom hooked on these. I've gone back to my trusty Lush shampoo and conditioner (I'm not supposed to use hair products with alcohol). These keep my hair healthy, super soft, and don't irritate my scalp. Going to be using more Lush hair products this year.

Sorry for the lack of no blogpost on Friday, was still recovering from my cold (my whole family got sick as well), but thankfully I'm better now. I know its Monday and we already counting down until Friday, here are a few of my favourite weekend items and also some recommendations. Remember the quote, a Sunday well spent brings a week of content; well I like to apply for the whole weekend. Lush Bath Bombs (not the same one pictured above, but its my FAV)
This was the very first Louis Vuitton and highend handbag I ever bought, I bought it in New York City after my curse to the Bahamas with my family. I love the MM size because it's not too big and not too small, just right. Love using this bag in the winter becuase it holds alot more than my cross body bags when you have all those scarves and gloves. The one thing I do regret is getting the monogram print, not a fan of the patena, but I really do love the rose ballerine lining on the inside.
Happy long weekend (it's Family Day in Canada), for today I wanted to share my go-to look as of late. I haven't been into wearing anything other than BB cream, something light and easy to blend. Of course adding on the bronzer so I don't look too dead in this winter, so ready for spring and summer! I love a good cream eye shadow; I have been rotating between two nude colours. Glowly skin is a must to a natural look and I have been keeping it simple with my brows, just using clear brow gel. I've been breaking out a bit, my skin is so dry this winter; can't go wrong with lots and lots of volumizing mascara. Everything linked below to shop. Hope your enjoying your Monday and I'm going to fight off this cold I'm starting to get.
Wanted to share the products that I reach for the most on a daily bases. I do change out my makeup depending on the season and what I'm using/loving at the moment. My vanity is from Ikea. Love, Brittany
We should acknowledge and love each other everyday. Even if your not in a relationship; take this day to love yourself too. Happy Valentine's day everyone!
Love, Brittany NO. 1 PALETTES -Take it from someone who has a lot of palettes, you only use maybe two out of your collection. -There are always new releases. -I prefer to use single shadows. NO. 2 FOUNDATIONS -They expire in 12 months (well most do). -Know if you like foundations, BB creams, or tinted-moisturizers. -Don't hold on to lost of different shades of base products, like for summer, wait till then to decide. NO. 3 EYE BROW PRODUCTS -Realistically you only use one. -I recommend finishing up one before you run out and get a different shade, unlike me. NO. 4 MASCARAS -They expire in 6 months. -You can get an eye infection if you don't keep track. NO. 5 NAILPOLISH -No person needs this much nail polish (believe or not I used to have 2x more). -The formula changes. -I only pick about a few colours to wear on a regular bases then barely switch it up when the seasons change. Hope you enjoyed my take on my makeup collection and I will be doing a post all about my makeup collection & how I store my makeup.
Love, Brittany I love a good pair a black - chunky plastic sunglasses (even though I only have one pair). I also love the oversized look of these lenses and they will go with any outfit. As you can probably tell I don't usually go for trends, I go with what I'm missing from my wardrobe and then pair some trendy items with it so it's for me, like these boyfriend jeans. I only have skinny jeans and for the spring I want to have a more relaxed pair of denim. These are more expensive but the stretch on these are amazing (hoping they go on sale). I've always wanted a white purse; looks amazing paired with white denim, but I have unexpectedly been loving some pink bags too! I've had blue coloured handbags in the past and I've ended up not loving as much as I thought I would. Maybe pink is the answer hehehe. Have a great weekend xoxo Love, Brittany

NO. 4 | STARBUCKS GIFT CARD This is for those last minute shoppers out there! Who would ever say no to coffee, I'm I right?! Hope this post helped you find some ideas for your shopping this weekend. Love, Brittany OLAY Body wash in Shea + Manuka Honey is one of best to use in the winter time. This helps keep your body hydrated without feeling super dr. Life Hand and Nail Lotion is really thick to apply and leaves a sticky residue; definitely a regret. this is the Shoppers Drugmart brand. Elemis spa @ home body oil is my favourite body oil formula, have to order online but so worth it. My favourite is the one in the red bottle. Jo Malone BlackBerry & Bay Cologne is one of my top five favourite scents from Jo Malone. Definitely recommend. Vaseline Intensive care Dry Skin Repair (yellow bottle) is another good one to use as a daily body moisturizer all year around. Macadamia Deep Repair Mask is again my favourite hair mask, only $30, and excellent for dry and damaged hair. Lush Sunny Day hair detangler is amazing if you've got knotty hair and has excellent natural ingredients. Macadamia Nourishing Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner was a big miss for me. They have recently changed their branding and packing; the formula I found has changed and didn't do anything for me. Bourjois healthy mix conclear is my favourite from the drugstore and excellent for dry ski types. Sephora Instant nail polish remover is the best! Charlotte Tilbury Goddess Skin Clay Mask is an all round the best if you don't usually like to do face masks, makes skin smooth and radiant. Lancome Colour Correcting Cushion in Pink is amazing for brightening your face; it has been difficult to find but I've heard that the purple one is just as good. Clinique all about eyes eye cream is the second I've finished, I do feel like I go through it quickly, but I do like this eye cream a lot. Peter Thomas Roth Complexion Correction pads is a staple is my evening skincare routine, amazing for fading acne scars! Sephora Sheet Mask for anti-aging is very moisturizing, smells very nice, and is affordable. What are your most used beauty products? Love, Brittany |
