Last weekend, I went downtown to the Distillery District to take pictures on my new Sony A5000 camera. So far I'm really liking this camera.
So my week off from work has come to an end, it went by so fast! I have one more in the fall and I hope to go away this time (keeping my fingers crossed).

Morning RoutineEvening RoutineMorning Routine:
Caudaile Micellar Cleansing Water- not into washing my face in the morning. It saves on time. La Roche-Posay Serozinc or Caudaile Grape Water- depending on how my skin feels. Clinique eye cream with Spf 25- this one is great for the summer months. First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Hydrating Serum- really great if you have dehydrated skin and suffer with dry patches; it has become a holy grail product for me. Origins VitaZing Spf 15- gives a tint of colour to the skin. Evening Routine: Clarins Instant Eye Makeup Remover Waterproof- the best fro removing waterproof mascara. Charlotte Tilbury Multi-Miracle Glow- great cleansing balm, smells of rose, and you can also use this on dry patches on her body! Kate Somerville Goat Milk Cleanser- this is a great double cleanse cleanser, this is not good to remove eye makeup (it stings). Foreo Luna mini- use for exfoilating, had this product fro awhile and so far I really like it. Much more gentle than the Clarisonic. La Roche-Posay Serozinc or Caudaile Grape Water NUDE Rescue Oil- had a sample but I much prefer the Tarte Maracuja Oil! Kate Somerville Goat Milk Eye Balm- love how cooling it feels and its so easy to use. First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream- Using up all my samples, still like the Kate Somerville moisturizers. Can't believe Summer is finally here and that were half way through the year. Where did the time go.
Adventure awaits! For a few months, I have been wanting a new pair of sunglasses. Something more neutral, goes with everything, and a lot more summery.
I tried on so my different styles and brands but couldn't find any that I liked as much as the Dior sunglasses I already have. So i purchased the clear/reflective blue ones. They are much different then my navy/rose gold ones for sure. I'm so happy with the ones I chose. I definitely want to post more OOTDs on here, but I'm a little nervous (bare with me). Have a good one! Besides sunscreen... these are my summer staples.
1. Body lotion: It helps keep your skin moisturized after being in the sun all day, but also keeps your tan longer. 2. Bronzer: This year I prefer cream bronzers over powder, because it looks more natural. 3. Fragrance: I LOVE beach smelling perfumes, in the picture are my all times favs for summer and that are always on rotation. I'm off this week from work. YESS! So I'm going to post as much as I can. Yesturday my mom and I had a little shopping day on Bloor street. We go there mainly to go to Holt Renfrew straight to the Charlotte Tilbury counter; I got her addicted to Charlotte Tilbury's range. I have always loved Charlotte as a makeup artist and looking through the many makeup looks she's created for so many women in Hollywood. Plus I waited two years for her range to come to Canada!
Both my mom and I picked up the Instant Look Palette, it's limited edition. I picked up her Beach stick in Moon Beach which is a cream blush that you can also use on your lips repurchased my Brow Lift in Cara D the BEST shade for dark brows! I also went to the Chanel counter to finally try the Bronze Universal. We also went to Sephora because my mom had to return some of purchases. While she was looking around I went to repurchase my Caudalie micellar cleansing water that I use in my morning skincare routine and the Too Faced Hangover primer, it smells like coconut and makes my makeup last longer too! Hope you had a great weekend and a great week! Love you. May was an overall a great month. I had one of the best Birthdays ever, it was really nice of my best friends to get tickets to see the Toronto Blue Jays for the week of my Birthday.
Also I found out from my mom that someone was selling Beyonce their tickets at her work. For so long I was treading the day that Beyonce was coming to then counting down the day to see her live! She was amazing!! Haven't really changed up my makeup, except I've dug out my bronzers and sunscreens. I've only wore one blush in May the Burberry lip Lip & Cheek Bloom in Rose. Also been liking white nails, makes me look I'm tanned. Also dusted off my So Real Dior sunglasses, LOVE them! Bag: Tory Burch FEED Bag (they don't make this bag anymore) Shoppers Drugmart: Sun Bum lip balm Spf 30 in coconut L'oreal cushion foundation Rimmel LONDON nailpolish in white hot love Sephora: Formula X drying nail spary Origins VitaZing Spf 15 Clinique age defense eye cream Spf 20 Fist AID Beauty ultra repair hydrating serum Buxom waterproof mascara Brazilian Bum Bum Cream Hourglass bronzer in Luminous bronze light Shiseido sun lotion Spf 50 (Sorry about the picture quality, still figuring out the settings on my new camera).
Right now I'm obsessed with cream blushes especially around the summer months. Unfortunately YSL and Josie Maran have (to my knowledge) discontinued their cream blushes, sad face. But, I have found some new faves like the Burberry lip & cheek bloom blushing colours, Stile watercolour blushes (very cool packing!), and most recently Charlotte Tilbury's Beach Stick in Moon beach LOVE IT!! I'm going to be posting again, when my mom was in the hospital i was out of routine, then May 16 was my birthday, and i went to the BEYONCE CONCERT!!!!!!! So yeah you'll be seeing a few post today. |
