Today, I wanted to share my recent purchases with you all because, I don't know about you, but I have become very indecisive over the last few months when in comes to shopping. This might comes as a shock for people close to me because; I'm the one my friends and a few family members come to for help in that regard. Fyi I'm perfectly capable to go into Sephora and know EXACTLY what I want! Its my style I'm having a problem with. I'm comfortable with what I like, but I have been wanting a change as of lately. Anyway, just wanted to share that with you; hope your having a great start to your week and that it goes by quickly for you. Happy Halloween (still wired its on a Tuesday this year). Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood contour wand & highlight wand: -They are both super easy to blend -I reach for them everyday -I do love the sponge applicator, but you can't blend the product, you need to use a brush or beautyblender -I think the highlighter is my fav, because it has such an impact when the light hits it. So pretty! Burberry nail polish in Oxblood: -I had been looking for an oxblood coloured polish since last and couldn't find one and I never thought to check Burberry for nail polish -The brush was super easy to apply -Not crazy expensive for a high end brand -I will be definitely be picking up more colours Chanel Lipbalm: -Of course I picked this one becuase of how pretty it looks -I was a bit shock at how thin and light the formula is; compared to Dior creme de rose lip balm its a big difference -But now, I really like it for applying before I put on lipstick (while I'm doing my makeup) because it sinks in quickly but keeps my lips hydrated Too Faced Sweetie Pie bronzer: -You guys know I love this bronzer so I'm not gonna bang on anymore about it ;) Sheet Masks: -My mom and I have been obsessed with sheet masks recently -My favs are by Garnier Aqua Bomb sheet masks and Sephora brand one ^ Peter Thomas Roth Eye Patches: -They stay on! Which is the most important thing -Perfect to put on in the morning and if your going somewhere later on, it makes your under eye so smooth, hydrated and doesn't mess up your makeup -Love these Chanel L'eau N 05: -Still wearing this everyday; still obsessed -You'll believe me once you smell this Clinique Even Better foundation: -Easy to apply -Makes my skin look great -Super light weight and has great coverage -Love that it has spf FENTY by PUMA faux fur slides in black: -Since we had a couple of warm days (now its jackets, boots, and scarves weather) these have been perfect -I think fur slides look nice in the Fall because they add texture to your outfit and I love that whole casual and effortless look! Love, Brittany I've picked up some new makeup over the last month and wanted give give my thoughts on each products whilst trying for the very first time. Keep in mind some of the photos, I had to edit the lighting so that you could see, because as you know, I don't like my to be heavy with makeup, keeping it natural. I'll list at the end what products that I used off camera. Too Faced Sweetie Pie bronzer: -I love how easy it applies -Blends well -Its an all in one product; the lighter tomes could be used as eye shadow -I also love how its not a flat bronzer, the light sheen makes your skin look healthy and glowly Charlotte Tilbury Contour Wand: -Love the colour -Easy to blend (I used a beautyblender to apply) -I did notice though that if you apply the contour on all at the same time, it was a bit harder to blend. So I suggest applying it one section at a time Covergirl Total Tease Mascara (waterproof): -Had to work with it for a while in order to get the look I wanted -It did last all day -Made my lashes look very thin and "spidery" looking -Don't like it Bobbi Brown Highlighting Trio: -Not super a super "blinding" highlight which I love (I hate that highlighter stripe look!) -Natural sheen -The colours are wearable, even the pink highlighters Anastasia Glow Kit in Sugar: (sorry about the picture quality, the clouds decide to come when I was taking the photos) -Great palette if you missed out on the Gleam palette from last year! -Love that when you apply it it almost looks wet -The colours are so pretty -Perfect for all skin tones -Like I said; don't walk, RUN to Sephora to get this palette before its gone forever!! ((MAKEUP I'M WEARING)): CLINIQUE EVEN BETTER FOUNDATION CLINIQUE PRETTY EASY LIQUID LINEAR NARS EYESHADOW BASE BENEFIT GOOF PROOF PENCIL ANASTASIA CLEAR BROW GEL CHANEL BLUSH IN ROSE INITIAL MAC PREP+PRIME HIGHLIGHT IN RADIANT ROSE DIOR CREME DE ROSE LIPBALM Love, Brittany I'm very simple when it comes to what items I carry in my purses, because I have a bad back from being a tummy sleeper (super bad for you to sleep on your back because it causes problems for your spin later on in your life and I had a back injury in high school). Which overall, I think has helped me because I don't carry a tone of crap (you should see my mom purse, she carriers everything but the kitchen sink with her!); I have all the "bear necessities" (name that movie). I love small - cross body bags, the Louis Vuitton Pochette Metis is one that I recommend to anyone, its the best, lots of compartments, light-weight, practical, and classic. I don't like though some of the bags have this light coloured material (I know theres a name for it but I forgot), so I put a little scarf on it to make mine more unique from others! ((EVERYTHING PICTURED ABOVE)): Multi-coloured wallet- Louis Vuitton: -I love the size -Pretty to look at, has sentimental value -One of my first designer & LV purchases Marc Jacobs Key wallet: -Had since I was 17 -Holds my house keys, car keys, and subway pass The Blotterazzi from beautyblender: -I use this to touch-up my makeup throughout the day -When I use this I don't need to powder because It works better! -Can easily be washed Buxom Lip gloss: -I love super glittery glosses -Perfect to touch lip and also is good to wear as an lipbalm -Got one of my best friends hooked on this brand Tory Burch Card holder: -Super hold (the bow broke, can't find one I like to replace it) Dior So Real Rose gold sun glasses: -So unique -Love anything rose gold and blue -My fav to wear in the Fall *and I through in whatever lipstick I'm wearing that day, just in case I don't want to wear my lip gloss. ^Bareminerals Matte liqiud lipstick in Slay. Love, Brittany Just wanted to share my Fall Edit for this year, plus you guys know I can't resist a good old flatlay. For more of my flatlays head on over to my instagram (shameless self-plug). The leaves are FINALLY starting to fall in my neighbourhood, but barely. In other good news, my burn on my forehead is finally going away and I can stop wearing caps and get back to wearing makeup again! Sad to say thats what I'm happy about, not that I'm lucky that the burn didn't turn to a semi-permitted scar. YOLO. Well, just wanted to come up on here and say hello and have a fabulous weekend! Love, Brittany These are the products I have been wearing as of lately, but these products make a quick and pretty nice 10 minute look. I would have done some pictures of myself with the look, but I burned my forehead with my curling wand and it's not pretty if you know what I mean. The base I have been using is the Clinique even better foundation, gives such a nice overall glow and super natural while leaving a "even" complexion. The Too Faced Sweet Pie bronzer, I mentioned in Mondays post; is my all in-one, no blush required. My obsession with the Charlotte Tilbury contour and highlight wands is crazy, just love using them so much! I just do a simple eye look, nothing fancy and of course need to fill in my brows, just frames the face and looks more put together. Last, but certainly not least, mascara. ((PRODUCTS SHOWN ABOVE)): Clinique even better foundation MAC prep+prime highlighter in radiant rose Too Faced Sweet Pie Radiant Bronzer Too Faced Just Peachy mattes eyeshadow palette Benefit goof proof brow pencil Charlotte Tilbury Contour and Highlight wands MAC eyeshadow base LOREAL Voluminous Lash Paradise mascara Love, Brittany Happy Monday everyone! I have been wanting to share my favourites from the new Too Faced Peaches and Cream collection for a while now, I waited because I like to use makeup and skincare before I review so I can tell you guys my thoughts and give a more honest review that way (that how I personally like it). As you can see, I didn't buy a how bunch of products from the range, I always buy what I initially like either in store or online and then if I like it, I'll buy more from the line. I had seen a lot of reviews of course when the Peaches and Cream line launch so thats I also waited. This way I wasn't 'riding the hype wave' if the collection wasn't great (I know what I like when I see it). I really loved the Just Peachy matte eye shadow palette when I first saw it. I love me a good matte eye shadow palette and this did not disappoint! I love how the colour range from warm tones too some cool tones and how it's not so in your face peach shadow colours; like you can do a very simple look to a dramatic-colourful smoky eye. Has everything all in one. Also, I love the big mirror. Been using this soo much; this palette has inspired me to go out of my comfort zone of nudes and browns and use more smokey purples and use more peach tones. Highly recommended picking this palette up. Next up is the Sweetie Pie Radiant matte bronzer, to me if you just had to pick up only one item from the collection, it's this one! Even though the name suggests its a 'matte' bronzer, it does though have a seen to it, not sparkly, but a nice natural look on the skin, which is why I bought this. Sometimes if I can't be bothered to do a full face of makeup or I'm working from home, like today, I use the lighter tones in the bronzer as eyeshadow and I won't use blush because there is some peachy-pink tones in the bronzer already. This is perfect if your someone who is usually running late and doesn't have time to use different products. Plus, its so freaking cute, love how the packaging looks like a pie! Love, Brittany CANDLES: Bath & Body Works candles: -Leaves candle is a fall classic, this one is from last year, my mom saved this one. I'm not into the packing of this years candles (I swear I did finish the sweather weather candle)! Also PSA! If you're a fan of the tea light candles from BBW, they are discontinuing them!! So sad. SHOWER PRODUCTS: Pantene Sheer Volume shampoo: -Love how it makes my hair feel so clean -Lasts a long time, plus its always on sale at the drugstore -It really does give my light volume at the roots of my hair (which is what I need) LUSH Snow Fairy shower gel: -FINALLY finished the last of my stash from last year! Very sad but can't wait to get some more!! -If your not a fan of super sweet scents then you will not like this -Its simply just the best Macadamia Oil Deep Repair Mask: -Finished 2, because I share with my mom -THE BEST for very dry damaged hair -The scent is amazing Aussie 3 minute miracle: -Great as an everyday conditoner -Super cheat - My uncle really like this stuff now! EOS shave cream: -It is very moisturizing -But you have to use up to 5-6 pumps to cover your legs (my opinion) -Finish very quickly and isn't cheap for a drugstore item -Will not repurchase anymore, the Aveeno one is way better because it lasts much longer (for the same price) SKINCARE: Kate Somerville anti-bac lotion: -Amazing for keeping acne spots at bay -But hard to find in Canada (I order through Nordstrom) -Amazing product! Serozinc by La Roche-Posay -Great facial spray -Spray's very nicely -But only available in France (my moms friend went last year and got me soo many bottles) -Great for acne skin, burns, and if you have baby its supposed to be great for healing diaper rashes because it is that gentle on the skin Peter Thomas Roth Max Complexion Correction pads: -Fades acne scars -Repurchased already Fresh Rose face mask: -Super hydrating -Made with real petals from roses -I miss it so much! Body Shop Ice Cude eye balm: -Its a dupe for the Kate Somerville goat milk balm -It did make under eyes dry though Evian facial spray: -Affordable -Feels great -Doesn't break me out -Been using this stuff on and off since high school, my sister actually introduced me to this product LUNA oil by Sunday Riley: -Worked great in the beginning -Over hyped product -It's expensive -But a good way to introduce retinal into your skincare routine -Don't recommand MAKEUP & BODY: Avon satin glow: -preserves your existing tan -also a great fake tan Chanel volume mascara: -One of my top 5 fav mascaras of all time -Super is too aply, unlike other brands I've tried over the years Chanel Rouge Coco lip balm: -Moisturizing -Perfect under matte lipsticks -My mothers fav! Dior creme de rose lip balm: -I've gone through 6 of these -Best rose scent -The best!! Beautyblender: -I don't even use a foundation brush anymore -I cut it open so you can see that it doesn't soak up any product! (some people think that -_-) La Roche-Posay facial sun screen: -Great under makeup -Super cheap Gorgio Armani eyes to kill mascara: -Ever since they changed to packaging, its not the same formula, even though they claim its the same -Don't like it OTHERS:
Bath & Body Works pillow spray: -Soaked my pillow sheets after just two sprays! -Also made me breakout! -I've been waiting to try different ones but I'm too afraid now Nail Dryer: -Drys your nail in 60 seconds -Available at Wal-Mart -My sister, mom and I love this spray so much Love, Brittany The 'I Heart Fall Tag' is something I used to see around on youtube awhile back, I loved watching tag videos because of how personal and different everybody's answers can be.
