So many great discovers this year, so many have become my ride or die favourites and have also changed my skin for the better. It is crazy to think that 2017 is over in just a few days, it has been a difficult, memorable, and full of changes kind of year! Hope this round-up of my favourites will help you find so little gems to try out. Chanel No5 L'eau: -still my favourite from last year -get compliments every time I wear it! Clinique Bases: -Clinique over-all as a brand is a big favourite and discovery if this year -in love with these foundations and the look it gives my skin -love how its not a very expensive brand too! Glamglow makeup setting spray: -even though I discovered this product in November, it is now my holy grail -when I use other sprays, my skin never looks glowly or "radiant" like the Glamglow ones does Too faced Sweetie Pie bronzer: -loved this product when it first launched -now its currently on rotation with my Chanel bronze universal, highly recommend this -I love the colour of the bronzer and how it doesn't make my skin look flat L'oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise mascara: -never thought I would have a drugstore mascara on this list -gives so much volume, length, and depth to your lashes -I will forever recommend this - number one pick from the drugstore Clinique Pretty Easy liquid liner: -great for beginners and made me fall in love with eye liners -super glossy and black -and lasts a long time (doesn't dry out) Laura Mericer matte caviar sticks: -already love the original caviar sticks, so of course I had to put the matte ones on the list -so happy with these Essie Gel Couture polish: -safe to say I wore this on and off all year -such a pretty whitish-nude colour and of course lasts really well Beautyblender: -the beautyblender change everything about how I apply my makeup -used to think this was a over priced/took to long the apply sponge; until I tried and was blown away! NARS Liquid blush: -my favourite release from this year -you must try this if you love cream blushes -the liquid formula is genius, super easy to blend and has amazing staying power! My skincare routine: -these products have changed my skin -for the first part of 2017 my skin was going down hill, but when makeupbytiffanyd on Youtube shared her routine ^^^I run out and bought everything and my skin was cleared up -I have a blogpost talking about my skincare routine, if your interested See you in 2018!

Firstly, lip scrubs are a must, if you buy them or make your own. Helps keep your lips smooth, from getting crack and daily use helps your lips from peeling (like mine do). Lush has so many different flavours that taste amazing, my fav is bubble gum, or you try the ones above from Dior or Fresh. I personally stay away from liquid lipsticks around the winter months (unless its Christmas because I'm traveling around visiting family). Tinted lip balms are my best friends right now, like the ones from YSL the Sheer candy lip balms, great colour selections, and of course moisturizing while giving a tint of colour. These three are my top go lip glosses, they have been tired and tested, especially a few years back when I was on acne medication. The Chanel lip gloss, Charlotte Tilbury gloss, and YSL tinted lip oil. These lip glosses really hide how dried out my lips were. The formulas of these glosses are my favourite! Other great glosses I use; Buxom, Too faced Peach lip glosses, & Dior. Others that I like or use at night time. Lip Smackers Tsum Tsum, Chanel lip balm, and Dior lip glow pomade. If you really can't live without lip sticks during winter, then Charlotte Tilbury's matte revolution lipsticks are my personal go-to's.
Hope you all had the best Christmas break with your loved ones. See you on Friday for my 2017 favourites of the year!! Love, Brittany Happy Holidays everyone! Hope this day is filled with love, family, kindness, and laughter! Wish nothing but happiness for you all and hope you enjoy this festive nails post; my gift to you. Love, Brittany
This is simple look that I'll be wearing on Christmas eve, thats the only day we are out of the house most of the day, on Christmas my family has Xmas lunch, opens presents, and then we go to my cousins house in the evenings and we just lounge around and chit chat. I choose to foundations (depending on your preference), a easy-glowly look or if you know that there are lots of pictures going to be taken, my go-to is the Giorgio Armani luminous silk; bit more coverage and no spf flash back! I like to always mix a illuminator into the Giorgio A foundation for the extra glow and a great under eye concealer thats not going to crease. -Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation -Clinique even better foundation -MAC undereye in radiant rose Can't forget a great bronzer, a reflecting highlight, and some blush to add some life back into those cheeks. I like to set the under eyes if I going out and of course can't go anywhere without makeup setting spray. -Too Faced sweetie pie bronzer -Laura Mercier secret brighting powder in 1 -Chanel blush -Anastasia Glow Kit in Sugar -Glamglow makeup setting spray Just a simple matter smokey/natural eye look, nothing crazy if your wearing a bold lip, also eyeliner just on the lash line. Can't go wrong with lots of mascara and bright inner-corner highlight. -NARS eyeshadow base -MAC paint pot in Barely bare -Urban Decay Naked basics palette -MAC nylon eyeshadow -Lash curlers -L'oreal Lash paradise mascara -Clinique preety easy liner -Benefit Goof Proof pencil #3 -Anastasia brow gel Lastly, a red (not exactly red for me, but you can wear a nude or a true red) lipstick. Also a lip liner, so it lasts while you eat lols. -Rimmel London #107 -Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Berry Naughty Merry and Bright
Love, Brittany BaubleBar Eve Hoop Earrings: -these earrings are so light weight and affordable -wanted to pick-up the grey but were sold out, but I love the winter white -LOVE how they are "stud" earrings and not the typical classic hoop style My Pandora Christmas Bracelet: -the bracelet was limited edition (last years), but they always do one around the holidays -great Christmas present -not only were some of the charms gifts, but I have some wonderful memories -Where this only around Christmas time (obvs) Sally Hansen SALON in Camelflage: -surprisingly been wearing nude for most of this month -but of course, on Christmas I going to go all out with my Christmas polishes (fyi Holiday Nails post will go live on Xmas Day)! LUSH Snow Fairy Shower gel: -it is not Christmas without Snow Fairy in my life! -they have lots of different scents to close from, but this is just super sweet and delicious Neutrogena Body Oil -I have discovered that body oils work better for me -keeps the skin hydrated longer and this is super affordable and easy to use Lululemon Align Pant II leggings -these are the best leggings ever!!!! -Been leaving in them all month long (I have 2 pairs) -love how thick but light they are and also how the band goes around the stomach and makes it look smooth and flat Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt: -love wearing this around the colder months - not going to ramble on because you guys know how much I love this, just go and smells this and you will love it! This is the last monthly favourites of 2017 and I will be posting my 2017 Favs. See you all here on Friday for my Holiday makeup look and I will have content up for Christmas (my gift to you)!
Love, Brittany No secret that I love cozy sweats all year - round, especially around winter. It just you so warm during the cold snowy, winter days. I'm always looking for the perfect sweats (literally always) and I wanted to share a few I'm currently rotating on. P.S; Its seven days till Christmas! ROOTS - sweat pants Adidas t-shirt - Nordstrom BP. - Nordstrom Lululemon leggings - (the BEST leggings on the planet) Love, Brittany These are some recommendations that save me during the cold-winter months. The lip balms featured above are ones that keep me lips crack-free but still cute at the same time, you probably notice that theres no lipsticks; well to me, when my lips are dry that last thing I want to be wearing! But, a tip I've learned is to use a lip liner (last much longer) then add a gloss or a lip balm to create that happy medium. A lip scrub to me is must this time of year, so many brands are doing them now, the scrub helps take off the dry skin so you CAN wear lipstick without it looking patchy. Charlotte Tilbury lipgloss in Hall of Fame Chanel Lip gloss #187 Chanel lip balm Dior Lip Glow Dior Lip Sugar Scrub A cozy over-sized scarf, I like the infinity scarfs because you can just through it on without having to fuss with it when your in a rush or if its really windy, Scarf- Roots (for my designer bag lovers) I wear bags that are weather -proof which id why I prefer Louis Vuitton. Since its made from canvas and not leather, it won't damage the material. When you come back inside after walking in the snow, it just dry's off. Easy right! Lastly, a pretty pom pom hat; this is more affordable from Topshop. Come in loads of colours and a great stocking stuffer. Burberry scarf I splurge on because not only is it pretty and classic, but its practical and keeps me warm while also looking cute.
Love, Brittany So happy to be sharing my first Holiday decor post for 2017. I love decorating for the holidays (even Halloween is my absolute favourite), some years I'm more into decorating than others. My mom loves trees and that has definitely been passed on to me; I do love the process of decorating, lighting a candle, watching a Christmas movie, and getting the house all cozy.
Hope you have a great day and see back here on Friday. Love, Brittany If your a Sephora Rouge member, sometimes you get emailed a $25 off coupon; Of course I couldn't pass it up (any excuse to go). I was strict in the sense of only getting things that I NEEDED! I was in need of a new lip scrub since I just used up my Tarte one (added to the empties pile); then I also finished my Clinique All About eyes eye cream; but know which one I wanted to try since I usually like to try different ones, so I decided to just repurchase it, I really do like it. I noticed that my Clinique pretty easy liner was starting to dry out a bit-(by the way this isn't sponsored fyi), got a pick up just in case. Fresh Sugar Lip Polish Clinique All About Eyes eye cream Clinique Pretty easy Liner Love, Brittany
