To think, after September is over; there is only three more months left of 2017. I know mind blowing right!! I don't have a lot of favourites this month but I like How I rediscovered an old favourite and also have discovered new favs too. One of these favourites has become an holy-grail item for me now. FENTY Beauty by Rihanna: Rihanna's makeup line launch was obviously my favourite thing about September. I didn't buy a whole bunch of stuff and just try it out, I took my time swatching everything and decided that instead of rushing out to buy everything, Try a few things at a time (and be different because lets face it, when a new range comes out everybody wants to jump on it and gives the quickest review instead of really playing around with the product). I love how versatile these Match stix are meant to be, the contour shade is a great cream shadow, etc. Just try it and you'll understand :) Urban Decay Ultimate Basics eye shadow palette: I finally bit the bullet and pick this up and I don't know why it took me so long, I love the Basics palette still, so I don't know; I'm still kicking myself for not buying it sooner. Its awesome for that everyday shadow and of course easy to blend as all U.D shadows are! Been Using this as my go to. Clinique Pretty Easy liquid eye liner: I never thought eye liner looked good on me. I thought that it made my eyes look to big and clown-like. I recently decided to practice more (still have a long way to go) and I actually like it on me now! I like my liner to look natural though; a thin that makes my lashes look fuller, obviously I wear it if in have a time or the patience for it that day. This linear is easy, just like the name says, it does though rub off some times, just letting you know, but I like how it apply's that I don't mind that much really. L'oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise mascara: I don't like drugstore mascara's, I find them to not work on me and when I buy the waterproof formula it drys out my lashes. When I heard other Youtubers talk about this mascara, of course I didn't run out and buy it, I was even more unsure of it. But the results I saw was crazy, in one coat, my lashes did look fuller, more volume and longer, then others I have tried! Its amazing, after two coats, you need to let it dry a bit cause then it can get clumpy, I would pay $40 like the ones I buy at Sephora, because its that good! Perricone MD No highlighter highlighter: If you like highlighters that don't look like they give you straight line (like most instance, unnatural powder highlighters) then try this please! I personally prefer cream highlighters because they blend nicely and give a nice effect to the skin. This highlighter you can apply more layers and still doesn't move your base and still looks pretty. Aussie 3 minute miracle: I haven't used this in years, but I recently have been recommending this product again. I bought this bottle back in the summer when My family and I went across the border to Target to do some shopping. I recently found that Wal-Mart is selling this size here in Canada if your interested in trying it. I fall back in love with it again, but I have to say that this bottle size can be tricky if you don't haver shelfs in your shower, you end up having to balance this on your knee to use the pump, I prefer the original bottle which they still have. My mom goes through this stuff like water so thats the only reason why I would say get the larger size. But love the product just the same as I did when I first tried it. Love, Brittany

"Autumn seemed to arrive suddenly that year. The morning of the first September was crisp & golden as an apple."- J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Even though it feels like summer time here in Toronto, I still wanted to decorate for Halloween/ Fall because one, is like my Christmas, two, I love candles. At Bath & Body Works they've got some really cute candle holders like this marble-rose gold one. Picked up some classic scents my family love, the Sweater weather one is amazing, smells super fresh and clean smelling and of course Leaves, the best scented candle ever for Fall. Last year my mom picked these beautiful pumpkin candles too. Love, Brittany Wanted to show a look that I always do when I want full coverage, but I still want to look like myself, still covering those imperfections. I love the look of "cakey" makeup, but when I see someone in real life wearing and not on the internet I just don't get it, to each its own right. I also through in there a fall eye look inspired by the leaves changing, cause here in Toronto its still summer apparently; I'm not complaining because the summer here was so so. I just like the makeup not the weather! A lot of friends and family lately have been asking me what products to use when your hair is damaged from colour, dry, and which products are good for heat protecting from styling tools. This inspired me to dedicate a whole blog post to the topic. Firstly, I recommend not straightening your hair (if you style your hair everyday and feel like you need it) because over time its slowly burns your hair, while blow drying your actually doesn't. Your hair feels weak after a while using a straightener versus a blow dryer. Something else I like to do is use hair masks; hair mask not only help moisturize your hair but help strengthen your hair too. I recommend doing a hair mask 1-2 times a week, doing it on the week especially if you have down time. To see best results, use the mask when your hair is dry, like on the weekends when your home and leaving it on for hours or the whole day and you will see a difference. Of course also using the right leave products after your done washing your hair. This Macadamia Deep Repair mask is in my opinion the best one on the market. You can use this in the shower as a in shower mask and amazing to use when your is dry and leaving it in all day! Aussie 3 minute miracle is a great deep conditioner if you need extra moister and a regular conditioner doesn't do anything for you. I used to have to do that when I first started bleaching the ends of my hair and this product helped. Next up leave in products, I personally need a detangler spray but I buy the ones that do more then just detangle knots like the it's a 10 brand. That one is a heath protector, moister, etc; also Lush's Sunny day is very good is you have a sensitive scalp like me, does not contain alcohol is great with frizz which is what its for. Hair oil is essential for me. My hair loves it, oil is great for dry hair and the Ouai hair oil great two thumbs up from me, its light but effective. If you like cream products for your hair the Alterna CC cream is great, been using it on and off for a few years now, the Living Proof Phd is great also. Another Product I recommend is the Bumble and Bumble Don't Blow it which is a leaving in product for if you like to leave your hair naturally and you don't style it or to give your hair a break from the styling tools, which is what I like to do a couple of weeks out the month.
By doing this, helps my hair grow and helps my hair get stronger. I wrote this post deicated to my god mother Sue who is frustrated with her hair and needed some encouragement to step out of her comfort zone, take care of her hair, and try something new. Love, Brittany These products are great for if you don't really where much makeup, in a rush for work, or school, if your a mom, those hot summer days, or even running to pick up groceries. This list of products are good to use no matter what the weather or situation your in these will help. One; using a light base, like a BB cream will be great not just for spring and summer but great those days when you don't feel like wearing much makeup and you can layer up when you want more coverage. I also like wearing a BB cream because since they have spf already, thats one less step in your skincare routine. Two; contour kits, I know I can you guys are confused as to why, the highlight shade will help with concealing your under eyes (if you like), high points on your face (of course), and also use as eye shadow. Of course with contour shade you can bronze up your face, eye shadow, and even use a dark lip stick shade; if you decided to buy the Fenty Beauty Match Stix's which are the best! When you pick your shade in the range you get a cream highlighter with can be used also as eyeshadow too! Three; I really love the Bobbi Brown Pot Rouges because you can use them on your lips too and I'm a sucker for a good cream blush, they are just so easy to blend when your in a hurry. Four; a good tinted brow gel my favourite are one from Charlotte Tilbury, Tarte Cosmetics, and I've heard good things about the Sephora brand version. Lastly Five, a good mascara of your choice, I'm using the L'oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise one at the moment. Hope this post was helpful or interesting you guys, sorry about it being a lengthy one, lots to say about what stuff I find useful and helpful.
Love, Brittany It's Friday, this week felt so long. But today I wanted to talk about Clinique foundations, (fyi this is not sponsored, I wish they knew I existed) I never really gave Clinique a chance before, not even given them a chance until last year when they came out with their Black Honey mascara which I know that shade had a cult following. In the last six months I really got into their moisturizers which my skin really likes, then I decided to try the Acne Solutions BB cream because my skin was going through a rough time and wow, I really loved how my skin looked. I wanted to share what I like about each foundation. Acne Solutions liquid makeup:

I hope you guys like my little point-form review on my latest favs and have an awesome weekend! Bye.
Love, Brittany Wanted to share my favourite shades to wear in Fall, I'm not into black nail polish on me personal, but I love the colour when I see other people wear it like my sister who wears black nail polish year-round. I like the polishes that are dark enough to where it looks black like OPI Lincoln Park After Dark, which is my favourite shade of all time for that look. The trend for nails this Fall is 'jewel-toned' nails, which I like, this purple shade is called kimono-over from Essie, I'm looking for a good jewel-toned green almost like a hunter green colour! I'm also obsessed with gray polishes; it is a natural colour almost like a pale pink. Nails inc Pochester Square is the perfect shade of light gray but still being opec enough to see it. I also like the dark shades of gray as a nice contrast like this one by Essie called Now and Zen from last years collection which is still available. You can never go with any red shade, which you know is great year-round. See you back on Friday!
Love, Brittany Happy Monday my lovelies! I have been super impressed with these products, enough to dedicate them in this post. I love how these four almost cover all the bases from hair to nails to makeup. FENTY BEAUTY Match Stix in light 100- I have been waiting almost two years for Ms. Rihanna (love her so much) to come out with a makeup line, everyone has been talking about the products and how wide of a range the colour selection is, super impressed for a first time launch. I wanted to pick up more from the brand, but I should start off small, with the Match Stix. You know how much I love cream products and these don't disappoint. I love how easy they are to blend and the colour pay-off is also so nice, but the star is the shade Starstruck; you can use this not just as a highlighter but as eyeshadow and is just beautiful. If your not sure which product to pick up first please try the Match Stix! You won't be disappointed. Ouai Hair Oil- I needed to pick up a new oil for my hair and thought it was the perfect time to try the range (ya ya I know I'm late to the party, but I like to break the rules). Wow this oil is just great, not greasy, smells so nice, and has the best pump I've ever come across from a hair oil. Love. L'oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise mascara- It takes a lot for me to try a drugstore mascara because I'm super picky about mascara's, its a very personal thing in my opinion. If you love thick, long, slightly clumpy, very black, easy to work mascaras then please, please try this its amazing!!! Essie Apricot nail oil- My nails and cuticles are try from always washing my hands, this oil smells slightly of apricots but does the job very nicely. Also easy to find from the drugstore and keep on your bed side table. Love, Brittany Seeing as this week fall decided to come early here in Toronto Canada, I have been switching out my makeup from light-glowier bases to slightly more coverage and darker tones. Eyeshadows are what I get most excited for during the Fall and Winter months because you can add more definition and colours to your eyes. I even added some of my most used eyeshadow sticks. ((EVERYTHING MENTIONED))
-Urban decay ultimate basics palette -Viseart 01 neutral matte palette -Chanel ombres contraste duo in 20 taupe -Dior 5 couleurs eyeshadow palette in 796 cuir cannage (i hope this wasn't limited edition, if so sorry!) Today I wanted to talk about contouring because its something I find that a lot of brands, particularly brands at Sephora, are pushing for the some"trend" & products to all do the some thing but you just have to choose which formula you like just, i.e contour palettes! I know this was talked about a lot beginning of last year, but this is something that I have wanted to talk about for awhile now (hope you won't be bored). At the beginning when contour palettes were releasing, the power of advertisement got to me and I ended with two contour palettes I don't use (Kat Von D & Anastasia Beverly Hills contour kits). I started ask myself do I even like to 'contour'? The answer is no, I find bronzer does all the work for me because I like my makeup to look natural or skin like or just simply not like have a 'cake face' aka look like I have 5 layers of product on my face, no offence if thats how you like your makeup, you do you! I have become more confident in my choose versus what I like and don't. Cream bronzers I find more natural and easy to apply, if your not heavy handed like my mom who lives for that bronze goddess look; I do like cream contour because you can sheer them to almost nothing, but for you its something and thats all that matters Hope you didn't mind my rant and I'll see you all again Friday!
