Hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and New Years! Mine was great, got to send lots of time with my family which is exactly how I wanted to send the Holidays. I know I had said I would be back the second on January, but on New Year's eve while my family and I were at the movies (it's our tradition) watching Aquaman (which was amazing fyi), I got sick. Plus, I had a lot of family stuff going on (two family members in hospital) in between not being well. Now that I've given you guys an update; lets get back to our scheduled programming shall we! Here are my absolute favourites from 2018, I picked the products I used the most, fell in love with, & rediscovered CHANEL LE VOLUME DE CHANEL: This is the only mascara this year that I used. I did try some new mascara's throughout the year, but nothing blew me away. I have been using Le Volume on and off for two years now and every time I come back to using it, I asked myself "why did I stop using it again?". The mascara has a plastic wand and grabs every lash; also this is the mascara to use if you want your lashes to have a lot of volume and the waterproof formula is just as great as the original> KOPARI COCONUT MELT: This definitely was THE find of the year for me (Psst. going to a blogpost soon on that soon)! Having sensitive skin, body lotions or creams would only work on me for so long til I either had a reaction or just didn't do anything for my dry skin. The coconut melt isn't just for your body, it has a whole list of uses for it. I have gone through 4 tubs of the coconut melt this year and lots of minis when it is sold at Sephora. This brand really has a lot of products that I'm obsessed with and certainly trying their coconut deo. BRIOGEO BE GENTLE BE KIND SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER: I'm not gonna ramble on about this amazing shampoo and conditioner because I feel like I've done enough of that in my empties post; my hair has never felt or looked better. A must-have to try! CLINIQUE 72-HOUR MOISTURE SURGE: This was my favourite launch of the year because I was so nervous that this was going to replace the original moisture surge moisturizer (they haven't discontinued it), but I love this more! It just was that added moisture that I didn't realize I was missing. So light-weight yet very hydrating. BRIOGEO ROSARCO MILK: This leave-in conditioning spray not only leaves your hair soft and shiny, but it's a great detangler. I can imagine it being great on kids hair too because it has such wonderful ingredients as well. MOROCCAN OIL TREATMENT: I've been using this product since before highschool, my mom knew about the brand. Since then, I always come back to it since it doesn't contain alcohol in it. my favourite rediscovery this year! LANO 101 OINTMENT MULTIPURPOSE BALM: I actually discovered Lano the brand this time last year; loved how their products were natural, the packing on everything is cute and their hand creams are the best! the 101 ointment balm is a saviour for the winter time for your lips and this balm has 101 uses (hence the name). I've even converted my mom this balm since she has cracked lips due to being sick and she loves it too! PILLOW TALK LIPSTICK: For most of the year I have been wearing lip balm, lip gloss or a liner; but when I wanted to wear lipstick this was the only one I wanted to wear! It was a challenge to find this lipstick because it was always sold out; it is now my favourite shade for a nude lipstick. NARS ORGASM BLUSH: This is the shade of blush I used all year. I even had the liquid blush version. DIOR LIP MAXIMIZER: This was my favourite gloss of 2018. Always in my purse and just so easy to apply with lip liner. 001 is my favourite shade form the range. PRADA CANDY KISS: It was a tough choice on my most used fragrance of the year. I don't like the original Prada Candy, but the other ones I love. I really wanted a sweet scented perfume, I like having options hehehehe.

Merry Christmas Eve everyone! I'm back with my last favourites post of 2018, crazy how it will be 2019 soon. My favourites for this month are quite small because I haven't been wearing much makeup; letting my skin breath and its been so cold my eyes are watering ALL the time. Here are my most used items from December. CLINIQUE ACNE SOLUTIONS BB CREAM: Been using this BB cream for a while, (if your a regular reader you know lol) very easy t& quick to apply. Makes my skin look fresh, it is probably too light for me but a bronzer fixes that. LANOLIPS 101 OINTMENT: This lip balm is my winter saviour, could not be without it. Very moisturizing, a multi-purpose product, and keeps my lips hydrated for hours! FRESH SUGAR LIP SCRUB: Because my lips have been so dry, exfoliating your lips helps keep them from getting dry, I use the sugar lip scrub every night. LUSH SNOW FAIRY BODY WASH: If you know me, you know that Snow Fairy is one of my favourite scents in the world! Every Christmas I stock up (because it's limited edition for the Holidays), it always feels like Christmas when I have this body wash. BURBERRY SCARF: Keep me warm during these cold days is my Burberry cashmere scarf, I'm allergic to wool so this scarf keeps me cozy and comfortable. It was worth every penny for this scarf. Still loved it every year. Wishing you and your families a Merry Christmas! I know for some people the Holidays are a hard time, I'm thinking of you and sending you lots of love! I'll be posting again on January 2 2019, use this time to be present with your loved ones and take time or yourself.
xoxo Hello loves! I imagine most of you will be getting glammed up for your Christmas gatherings (or just lounging), and I wanted to share a quick tutorial of a classic look for the occasion. I love a classic nude lip and a bold lash — they're both easy and fuss free for seeing friends & family. I'm a nude lip kind of girl, but every once in a while I like to put on red lipstick (still searching for the perfect shade of red). Scroll down for links to products. Hope you enjoyed this weeks posts! I'll keep you all updated on Instagram when the next blogpost will be (Christmas is always busy you know?!)

GARNIER MOISTURE BOMB SHEET MASK: -My favourite from the drugstore. If you work in a corporate place, or have an “office community” you might be exchanging Secret Santa gifts for your holiday party during the next few days and I’ve got the perfect (non-cheesy) items all under $25 rounded up!
You can still stay within the budget, and give your co-workers something useful and thoughtful. I’ve got a mix for women and men here, and they’re all gifts they can enjoy at the office (mugs are always a hit, planners, tech accessories) or at home to relax and unwind during the holidays (bath salts, cozy socks, candles etc). Hope you find this helpful! Don't forget if you still have some gifts to buy (or your just starting this weekend which is all good you've still got time). Happy shopping! LAYERED Y NECKLACE // STAR HOOP EARRINGS // TRIPLE STRAND NECKLACE // HEART EARRINGS // CLEAR HOOP EARRINGS // FRONT-FACING HOOP EARRINGS If you've been reading my blog for a while, you would know that I love jewellery this time of year! I mainly just want to stay warm and cozy since it's so cold outside. My style is pretty simple, I love to just wear leggings, an over-sized sweater, and cute boots; jewellery accessorizes the outfit, adds that little sparkle thats perfect for this time of year. My favourite brand for jewellery is BaubleBar (this is not a sponsored post), They have affordable pieces, so many styles to choose from and fine jewellery as well.
Here are my favourite pieces for holidays, whether you have work party's or just love a little sparkle while your visiting loved ones. I have three perfumes that I rotate between this time of year; two I've had time and time again and one of them I picked up in November and I'm obsessed. Perfume doesn't necessarily have to be worn season, totally up to your preferences. COCO MADEMOISELLE - Is a heavy fragrances (fair warning), very musky, and smells like it has lots of layers to it; kind of like how we have to dress in so many layers cause it's cold outside. I can always smell it on my scarfs. This perfume has notes of vanilla, jasmine, and rose. JO MALONE WOOD SAGE & SEA SALT - This scent truly has become a classic throughout the years, I remember when it first launched and I have been obsessed ever since! It has a fresh scent compared to the other two perfumes; this fragrances really can work all year-round, but there's something about it in the winter time. I don't ever smell it on myself after it dries down, but other people always complement me every time I wear it. LOUIS VUITTON APOGÉE - The Louis Vuitton perfumes are still new to me, but this one caught my attention. It does have hints of sandal wood, but you smells the floral notes as well, rose, jasmine. Light and woodsy (do you see the pattern here?). It's my kind of winter scent. You can get the bottle monogramed like it did and also can refill your fragrance! Hope you enjoyed reading about my favourite perfumes for this season. Have a great day! Light up trees- Home Sense // Vase- Home Sense // Flowers- Dollar Store Reed Diffuser- Body Shop // Candles- IKEA Pillows- Home Sense // Merry Christmas Pillow- Zara Home (last year) Lola couldn't decide whether she wanted her picture taken or not hahaha! Star- Home Sense (this year) Tree Skirt- Home Sense (this year) Even the pets need their own stockings! SMall light-up Tree- Avon (years old) Adevnt calender- Costco Tree- Home Sense (few years ago) Still working on decor this bit. Any ideas? Let me know My tree in my room- Hudson's Bay (few years ago) Merry Christmas Everyone! Thanks to everyone who reads my blog, really means the world to me see how many people come back and read the things I like talking about.
I'll see you all back here next Monday! xoxoxo BAREFOOT DREAMS COZY SOCKS // HAIR TIE SET // SMALL HOOP EARRINGS // SUGARFINA // MONOGRAM JOURNAL // THE FIVE MINUTE JOURNAL // POPSOCKET // LIPSTICK // DIOR NAIL POLISH // STOCKING Whenever I start shopping for the holidays, I always like to get my feet wet by starting with stockings! I sometimes even love giving
stockings stuffed with amazing little goodies, as gifts itself to friends. I find I have to constantly switch up my skin care routine to keep up so my skin doesn't skin doesn't produce oil, causing it to not be balanced. These are the products I use when during this season. More Options I Love:FRESH SUGAR LIP POLISH // LANO LIPS MULTI-PURPOSE BALM // BEAUTYBLENDER // ROSE FACE MASK // F.A.B BOUNCY MASK // GARNIER SHEET MASK // NEUTROGENA SHEET MASK Hope you guys had a great weekend & only 22 days till Christmas!!!
